Is there ever a time when you would consider trip middle cards to be a good starting hand (hold cards) in Omaha H/L? For example, your hand preflop in H/L is 777A2. How about any trip mid cards?

Hi guys
No doubt we are having a great show as usual and to any listeners that are not in the chat room then you should be, as we have lots of fun, anyway i find my self questioning a recent move i made at a tournament, my first thought when i did this was what a complete idiot, but after further analysis ma be it was the correct move, well the first part anyway, so here is what i did.

25 players remaining 6k guaranteed re-buy tourny, 1st place has a 300k chip stack and 2nd - 5th have 200k roughly and 5th on wards 100k+ or less, now i have 140k on the button blinds 8-16k and the small blind has about 220k and the big blind 240k, so I'm looking and I'm thinking to myself if i place a bet of 70k that should steal the binds from them as i cant see them wanting to call and risk there strong position at this stage, any way regardless to say i was RAISED by the big blind with A9 and put all in and now i had committed my self i called (really should have folded right there i think) anyway needless to say my q7 suited got busted and out i went.

straight away my first thought was what a complete idiot i was, but then was I? i find myself questioning this hand.
Know when to hold up know when to fold up and if im at the table leave.........

It's sweet to bust out a load mouth or chat idiot live or online
Its sweet to suck out a big pot with a miracle one outer, especially after losing a earlier pot to a suck out.
It's sweet to finally cashout after so many times depositing
It's sweet to see the board with two aces and you have a ace rag and then the turn or river is the case ace.
Winning a huge field MTT after hours of play(cuz its sucks so much when you play for hours and miss the money)
Those are some my heart pumping, thrill seeking moments I experience in poker.

What are other peoples sweet moments and if the same like to hear feedback.

recently in a live tourney, the blinds are 100/200 I have AcKc on the button. the player under the gun raises to 600 another player thinks about it then folds ahead of me. I re-raise to 1800. both blinds fold. then he goes all in just barley covering my remaining 1000. What should I have done? I put him on AA or KK so I folded to live another day but never recovered and finished 16th.

sounds like fun.

Make it to the money then go all in every hand. you either bust out in the thick of it or chip up till about 13th then use those chips to run for 1st.
