In hand 1 I would have check/folded the turn. After the C-Bet on the flop (which I have no problem with) and the call I have to think my opponent has at least a pocket pair which still has you beat. You can only beat a bluff and therefore a bet on the flop I am out of there.
Hand 2 you are just unlucky. I guess if pinbackattk re-raised you could have thought about folding but in this spot you are going to push in and you just have to hope to get lucky. |

yeah I agree. Hand 1 is dangerous because of his pos. Once that flop hits he has the ability to chase out if you bet. Which he did. So you have to try and get some info out of him. Or make a bet which doesn't play your hand face up. Hand 2. |

Hand 1: I don't wholeheartedly disagree with the CB, but I don't think it's a very good bet on that board given the preflop call you got. You're out of position on this one...check the flop and see what your opponent does. If you're absolutely in love with the CB, you need to shut down on the turn if you're called...no second bullet...there's not much your opponent will be calling with on the flop that he'll fold on the turn.
Hand 2: I actually like the shove here. You're unlucky that you ran into AA (especially since Pinball had it...I'm usually a lot more worried about the initial raiser than I am about any callers of the initial raise). Regardless of whether you end up with 1 or 2 callers, your AK should be favorable enough against the hand and calling distributions. |
