I love poker, but it is not an easy game to profit at. I know I'm not a pro, but have been playing for the fun and entertaining value for about five or six years. Now, I really want to seriously build some bank(roll)!!! I really only play one site at the moment, Poker Stars. I love the look, feel, variety, but I feel the random number generator is not even close to what you would get at a local casino. Yes, I have played $1/$2 or $1/$3 cash games live and have done better than I have online. I see people playing MASSIVE pots with 33, 44, 55 and hitting sets againts three or four bets from AA, KK and the like, risking it all going all in. I know bad beats happen, and I believe many players don't seem to care, or can't fold marginal or weak hands in all in situations. They, like myself, have probably seen so many bad beats, they figure they're due next to lay the bad beat on an opponent! Now, I'm sure a large part is the micro/small buy in cash games and tournaments/sit and go's I play. Anyhow, do you suggest depositing more cash and playing higher limits, or staying in micro type buy-in tournaments/sit and go's and be more willing to just gamble more often? Any input is greatly appreciated, thanks :)
